More likely, I say them.
Imagine if you are going to argue with someone about healthcare. I hope you never do this but just imagine.
Do you think you will convince them? Do you think someone is finally going to say, "Yeah, you know what, you're right."
No, of course not. That has never happened since wheat domesticated humans around the year 10,000 BC.
Three areas of your body need energy in order for you to live, be healthy, and be creative: your heart, your intestines, and your brain.
Or you can use your energy arguing with someone who will never change their mind.
I like to be as creative and powerful as possible. So as soon as someone begins an argument with me, I let them say their piece, I count to two silently, and then I say "you're right". And then I try to walk away or I just repeat what they said to convince them that I really do believe they are right.
Nobody has every changed their opinion ever. And the more time and money and energy they have invested in an opinion, the more energy it will take to argue with them about it.
This is important to know if you want to conserve relationships, build energy, and be an impactful member of society.
